Shinigami Captain listings

The soul society, and seireitei are guarded by that of the court guard divisions. These divisions are made up of Shinigami from all across the soul society.

The rankings of the soul society are more of a ancient tradition, and as such they hold the Shinigami within the soul society often view them in a higher regard then themselves. The rankings are as following:

• Third-twentieth seat
  
• Unseated shinigami
  

The structure of the Soul Society is split up into four different divisions. These divisions are the top squads of the soul society, each captain within the four divisions are known as the captain general, each captain general being in charge of a specific gate into the Seireitei. The listings of the current captains are as follows:

• North Gate: Chester Johnston
  
• West Gate: Shin Okitake
  
• East Gate: Shirley Marigold
  
• South Gate: Marcus O’Riley
  

Each of these captains may have a custom title so long as it isn't fluffy mic bunnykins. They also may have their own personal body guard of who they choose on their own. These individuals have no ranking, and as such can act independently of normal regulations within the soul society, and often act as the detectives of the captain generals, as well as their shield.

Below them are two divisions each one known as Alpha and Beta of said gate. Despite the names each squad has the same importance, and acts as a the main fighting force of their division. Each captain is under direct command of their captain general, and may not be commanded by another captain general. So it has been to prevent oh I don't know some people betraying the soul society, and forming an allegiance with hollows, and god moding everyone.

There is another division which is known as the research division. This division is the only one that is made up of shinigami from all the different divisions, and as such is commanded by a special captain whom is under the direct jurisdiction of all captain generals.
