NPC: Shinwa no Karasu (Zanpaktou)

Appearance (Sealed): Shinwa no Karasu when sealed appears as blade which has feathers upon it’s hilt. The blade itself seeming to scatter, and spread from the hilt instead of standing straight, being that the blade’s coating appears to make it appear scattered. Other than this it is the typical steel color, with nothing really special about it. The guard is shaped like that of two wings spread out.


Appearance: When released Shinwa no Karasu changes to look like that of a ravens wing. It’s color changing to that of a rainbow with each feather fading in and out with a different every few seconds. The blade’s size does not change.

Ability(ies): When released Shinwa no Karasu gains a unique ability. By sending it’s feathers out into the air around Samwell, Shinwa creates a sort of reflective surface around her, distorting the air space in which he is located. By creating this mask of colors the first effect has taken place, and locks the opponent within his line of thought. The second effect is so long as the opponent is looking upon his feathers/their effect, they shall have their reiatsu slowly drained, making their attacks seem to get weaker and weaker against an invisible light spectrum.



Appearance: The only notable appearance change between Shikai, and Bankai is that the color changes from rainbow to an all black.


Ability(ies): Via activating Bankai the feathers upon Karasu shall change to a raven black color, the mirage around him now shifting into that of darkness. As the opponent gazes into the darkness only visions of fears, and doubts shall enter their mind, their power seeming to be swept away the more of these emotions they feel. This mirage is hard to break out of, and as such Karasu has been dubbed one of the most devastating Zanpaktou’s within the Soul society, for the sheer fact of its level of psychological warfare. This effect however seems to only work upon one target at a time

Personality: Shinwa is a very well amusing spirit to say the least. Normally messing with Samwell’s mind via altering appearance, or whispering to him about stuff he really could care less about, she is like the opposite of him in many ways. Due to “her” love of changing appearance so often not even Samwell knows “her” true appearance, making him all the more uneasy when “she” talks to him. Generally enjoying being released so that ‘she” can release a way of mind blowing, well mind rape, Shinwa tends to enjoy life to the point of becoming a bit useless at time *Drunk more often than not*.
